Wildfire Risk Reduction and Sheep Habitat Enhancement project on the Nature Trust BC’s Armstrong and Grasslands properties.
The Kimberley-Cranbrook YCC crew has been putting their chainsaw training to work over the past couple of weeks, tackling a tandem Wildfire Risk Reduction and Sheep Habitat Enhancement project on the Nature Trust BC’s Armstrong and Grasslands properties. The crew’s work aids in ongoing efforts to restore portions of these low-elevation forests near the Bull River, which are important bighorn sheep and ungulate winter habitat.
