Meet YCCBC’s Communications Coordinator

We'd like to introduce you to our new Communications Coordinator, Augustus.

Augustus Lees was raised in Malaysia and now lives on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people. Having previously led YCCBC cohorts in Kelowna, he brings experience in team leadership, community engagement, and climate action to his role as Communications Coordinator. His appreciation for the natural world shapes his approach to communications. Outside of YCCBC, he can usually be found boxing, hiking, or reading.
