In collaboration with the ‘Namgis First Nation and based in Alert Bay, the Kwakwaka’wakw

Revitalization Program (KRP) provided meaningful, place-based climate employment for

local Indigenous youth. The program focused on cultural revitalization, ecosystem

restoration, traditional food practices, and skills development rooted in the Nation’s

priorities.
