Story

Moksh's passion for sustainability and climate action grew while serving as Vice President of Equity & Sustainability at BCIT, where he launched the award-winning Community Fridge and Swap Shelf projects and created the International Student Awards initiative to celebrate diversity and inclusion. With a background in cybersecurity and systems administration, Moksh brings a unique perspective on how technology and sustainability intersect. He believes that addressing climate change requires not just innovation, but also collaboration and a commitment to equity. For him, YCCBC is a place to connect with passionate changemakers, contribute to projects that advocate for green and living-wage jobs, and help build capacity for a just transition.Outside of climate work, Moksh enjoys exploring Vancouver with friends, discovering new music, trying out local coffee spots, and relaxing with good food and conversation.
