Mariam Arafa
Mariam studied Psychology and Environment/Sustainability at UBC and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in London, UK.
Story
Mariam enjoys going to the beach, discovering new food spots around Vancouver, spending time with friends, reading, and relaxing with her cats. Since October 2024, she has been a volunteer with YCCBC, where she has had the opportunity to connect with like-minded people in the climate space, participate in conferences and meetings with government representatives, and contribute to projects that support the YCC’s mission of ensuring more green and living wage jobs. She welcomes anyone to reach out with questions.
