Emerson Goodall

Emerson Goodall (she/her) lives and works on the unceded and traditional territory of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation in Kamloops, British Columbia. She is a student in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) program at Thompson Rivers University, pursuing studies in Geography and Environmental Economics.

Emerson is passionate about environmental sustainability, climate justice, and systems-based thinking. Growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, she developed a deep appreciation for the natural environment. Throughout her academic journey, this appreciation has evolved into a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable community development. Her interdisciplinary background combines environmental, economic, and geographic perspectives, enabling her to approach challenges with a deep understanding of social structures and environmental systems and how they interact with one another. Emerson is dedicated to advancing solutions that can support resilient, sustainable communities where current and future generations can thrive.

On her days off, Emerson enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and fishing.

Contact

I'm always looking for new and compelling opportunities. Let's connect. info@youthclimatecorps.com

We are committed to maintaining and growing respectful relationships in every region where we work.

YCCBC recognizes that colonization has deeply disrupted Indigenous Peoples’ relationships with their lands, communities, and cultural practices. We understand that the climate crisis is rooted in ongoing systems of colonialism and resource extraction—systems that became possible through the dispossession of Indigenous Peoples from their homelands.

We believe that Indigenous sovereignty is essential to building just futures and liveable worlds. YCCBC is committed to listening, learning, and walking in solidarity with Indigenous communities and to supporting Indigenous-led climate action across the province.

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Energy and Climate Solutions.

ABOUT US

Youth Climate Corps BC develops the climate leaders of tomorrow by training a workforce of young people who know how to work together, communicate powerfully, and get things done on projects that contribute to climate resilience in communities across British Columbia.
