Ben Simoni
Some of Ben’s (he/him) favourite professional pastimes are working with youth to build community, resiliency, and leadership. Ben is based on the traditional and unceded lands of Sinixt, Ktunaxa, and Syilx peoples, and is excited to be working with a talented and committed team building Youth Climate Corps BC.
Story
Ben is excited about the potential for systemic change that Youth Climate Corps BC can bring to communities and youth. “Youth are key stakeholders in our communities, and we need to give them the means and agency to make purposeful change.” Ben believes it's about time youth got paid for their work fighting for a sustainable and habitable future.
