Russell Precious

Based in the traditional and unceded territories of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, and Syilx peoples, Russell (he/him) has been involved in Youth Climate Corps BC since 2021. Russell’s primary interests have been group collaboration, inspired leadership and personal transformation.

Story

Russell has initiated several intentional communities and businesses grounded in this stance. 

 

Russell’s core business focus has been redefining the place of food and agriculture as a grower, wholesaler, and retailer, having studied organic agriculture. He has been immersed in environmental issues for 40 years as an activist and ‘ecopreneur’. He also has a serious interest in design and sustainable building practices. 

 

“I have a degree in history and economics which I am very passionate about, mainly where we have been and where we are going.”
